Privately owned and operated by Chef Matt, along with partners Chef Cameron Baker and Director of Hospitality Patrick Murphy, Rootstalk embodies a team of hospitality professionals dedicated to providing guests with a memorable dining experience. Job Overview:   Rootstalk is seeking individuals who share their passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences, are dedicated to honing their hospitality craft, and find joy in the process. The restaurant emphasizes a positive and professional work environment where team members can learn, grow, and achieve their personal goals in the restaurant industry. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of bartending experience in a high-level dining room, a strong work ethic, positive attitude, a complete understanding of classic cocktails, spirit knowledge and a desire to contribute to the culture of the restaurant family.

Job Requirements:

• 3-5 years of technical bartending experience in full service restaurants. 
• Dense classic cocktail & spirit knowledge

Job Duties: 

• Providing hospitality to guests in the dining room. Making everyone in the dining room feel like they are being welcomed into our home. 
• Working in a tip pool system where each service team member supports eachother. 
• Setting up the restaurant before service and ensuring the space is ready to welcome our guests. 
• Working to code. Following the systems established by leadership and following the steps of service that are outlined.
