In pursuing this mission, we are looking for a talented, energetic, Mental Health Specialist. ***Allendale has recently increased the compensation rate for this position!*** The Position Will: The Mental Health Specialist is active within the unit/cottage and implementing individual and group programs through the care, supervision, monitoring and direction of the residents encompassing activities related to residents’ health, education and welfare as well as care for the physical environment and maintain appropriate records. On-Site Training! The Ideal candidate Will Possess: Bachelors Degree in Human Services or related field or 5 years equivalent experience. Exceptions will be considered based on agency need. Per DCFS regulations, must be at least 21 years of age. First Aid/CPR certified within 90 days of employment. Valid Driver’s License and good driving record. Varied Shifts Available, i.e., Full-Time, Part-Time or Weekends Position Located in: Lake Villa, Illinois Salary Pay: From $21.10 - $22.77 per hour and up! + additional work experience will be added to the pay scale.
