What You'll Do As an LPN at Teresian House, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive quality, compassionate care. Responsibilities include: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Accurately document resident care and clinical information Provide hands-on support and assistance with resident care when needed Monitor and document resident status, intake/output, and other required records Respond to changes in resident conditions and communicate effectively with the nursing team Complete incident reports and assist with investigations as needed Coordinate resident transfers and required documentation when necessary Collaborate with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure outstanding care What We're Looking For Qualified candidates will have: Current New York State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license Graduation from an approved school of nursing Current CPR certification A passion for caring for older adults Strong communication and teamwork skills A commitment to compassion, professionalism, and excellence in resident care Join a Team Where Kindness Leads the Way Mother Angeline, founder of the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, said: "If you have to fail, let it be on the side of kindness."
