Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments using evidence-based practices to identify the mental health needs of clients, followed by the formulation of tailored treatment plans.

  • Implement a spectrum of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to address individual client challenges and promote sustainable mental health.

  • Record clinical notes accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations to maintain confidentiality and safeguard patient information.

  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to create holistic treatment plans by engaging with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals.

  • Engage in ongoing case consultations, peer reviews, and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and improve service delivery.

  • Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, therapeutic approaches, and available community resources to empower them through their recovery journey.

  • Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in the field of mental health to ensure the delivery of the most effective care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will be primarily working with a diverse array of patients experiencing various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders. Your therapeutic support will be critical in facilitating positive transformations and enabling clients to achieve their personal goals and improved outcomes.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • Current licensure in New York State as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), LCSW-R, Licensed Psychoanalyst, or Psychologist.

  • Demonstrated ability in using solution-focused psychotherapy techniques to effectively develop and implement personalized treatment strategies for clients.
  • \n
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build strong therapeutic relationships and foster patient trust.

  • Ability to think critically and solve complex problems to guide clients towards effective outcomes.
