Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant – Miami-Fort Lauderdale This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career accounting professional looking to build their experience within a strong corporate environment. Responsibilities: Assist with month-end and year-end close Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations Perform balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations Assist with financial statement preparation and reporting Research and resolve accounting discrepancies Support internal and external audit requests Assist with AP, AR, and other general accounting functions as needed Partner with accounting and finance team members on special projects and process improvements Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 1+ years of accounting experience required Public accounting and/or corporate accounting experience Ideally a combination of public accounting and private/corporate accounting experience Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles Strong Excel skills Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills Candidates coming directly from public accounting or those with a mix of public and corporate accounting experience are encouraged to apply.
