The Concrete Laborer plays a vital role in supporting residential construction projects by preparing sites, setting up formwork, pouring and finishing concrete surfaces, and maintaining tools. Working under direct supervision from the site manager and foreman, the laborer collaborates closely with a small team to ensure quality and safety standards on site. This role typically involves local travel between multiple residential sites.

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction sites by clearing obstacles and ensuring proper layout
• Set up and secure formwork for concrete pouring
• Pour and spread concrete evenly, ensuring correct thickness and level
• Finish concrete surfaces for smoothness and durability
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
• Handle materials safely and efficiently on-site
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines
• Clean up job sites and dispose of waste properly
• Collaborate with a small team of 2-4 workers under supervision
