CommuniCare Health Services is currently recruiting a Cash Reconciliation Specialist for our Home Office in Cincinnati, OH.

Purpose/belief statement

The Cash Reconciliation Specialist will perform continuous monthly audit of cash posted in PCC to make sure it equals total cash received per Treasury. This position will review unposted cash for facilities to ensure that refunds issued are posted in PCC and that unidentified payments are not posted to unposted cash and forgotten. This position will also be responsible for the accounting of funds related to acquisitions and divestitures. The Cash Reconciliation Specialist will frequently interact with Business Office and Regional Associates in order to successfully complete the position responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• 3-5 years strong business office cash reconciliation & accounting
• Bachelor or Associates Degree in accounting preferred
• Long term care experience preferred

• Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers, both verbal and written
• Effectively work with team members, facility and regional associates
• Ability to work independently and make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
• Strong task management and organizational skills, understanding priorities

• Ability to complete analytical reports
