# Job Opportunity – Progressive Care/Telemetry Registered Nurse – North Carolina Start Date: 09/28/2026
Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts; every other weekend required; no on-call Highlights:

• 20-bed inpatient overflow unit with mixed medical-surgical and progressive care patients
• Patient ratio: 1:5/1:6 dependent on acuity level; quick patient turnover with short-stay focus
• Telemetry monitoring with hardwired bedside monitors; EMR: Cerner
• Supportive team environment with designated charge nurse and CNAs each shift
• Opportunity to work at a regionally recognized referral center and Magnet-designated facility
• Potential floating to other units within the facility as needed

• Active North Carolina RN license or ability to obtain prior to start date
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Demonstrated telemetry competency
• Progressive care experience required; recent progressive care experience strongly preferred
• Strong clinical assessment skills for mixed acuity patient populations
