Key Responsibilities\n

• Consult with interdisciplinary medical staff on various patient care issues, fostering effective communication and treatment planning.

• Engage in active collaboration with team members to address the individual needs of clients, ensuring a tailored approach to therapy.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop evidence-based treatment plans using our clinical software, ensuring timely documentation and thorough charting for each client.

• Provide individual psychotherapy, marriage, and family therapy services, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities rooted in best practices.

• Refer clients to additional services such as group therapy, psychiatric medication management, psychological testing, and substance abuse programs as necessary.
\n
• Implement crisis management strategies and maintain follow-up protocols on missed appointments according to departmental policies.
\n
• Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to committees or task forces related to mental health practices within the clinic.
\n
• Complete administrative responsibilities proficiently, including scheduling, billing, and insurance processing, allowing for more focus on patient care.

• Remain engaged in ongoing professional development and further enhance clinical skills through peer consultation and supervision sessions.
\n
• Accept additional assignments as necessary to meet program goals while representing the clinic at community events and professional groups.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with diverse families and individuals facing various psychosocial challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. Our clientele reflects the rich diversity of Albany, and your ability to employ culturally sensitive approaches will be vital in building rapport and trust.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related discipline is preferred.

• Must possess a valid and active license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Georgia.

• Demonstrated ability to document clinical progress accurately and in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
