Job Description
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Soliant is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based contract position with a local school district in New Mexico. New graduates and Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply for an opportunity to work closely with experienced staff and administration. Speech-Language Pathologist Opening – 26/27 School Year
Details:
Remote or Onsite Position
Full-Time or Part-Time based on district needs
K–12 Caseload
Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
Provide direct speech-language therapy services
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Participate in IEP meetings and development
Support students with articulation, language, fluency, voice, and communication needs
Collaborate with teachers, staff, parents, and administration
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
Documentation and more!
Education and Certification:
Active New Mexico Speech-Language Pathologist license through the New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department (NMRLD), or eligibility to obtain one
New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED) license appropriate for the school assignment; application should be at least pending by the start date, as applicable
Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
ASHA CCC-SLP preferred
Clinical Fellows may be considered based on district requirements
SLP experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
Virtual/teletherapy experience preferred
