Quality Technician | Paw Paw, MI

Salary Range: $47,000 - $70,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Paw Paw that are seeking Quality Technicians. Key Responsibilities

• Performs visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• Documents inspection results accurately and maintains detailed quality records.
• Identifies and reports non-conformances, initiating corrective action requests as needed.
• Operates and calibrates various metrology equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and CMMs.
• Supports the development and implementation of quality control plans and procedures.
• Conducts root cause analysis for quality issues and implements preventative measures.
• Collaborates with production and engineering teams to resolve quality-related problems.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
• 2+ years experience in a manufacturing quality role
• Proficient in using various measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and statistical process control (SPC)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
