Job Opportunity: General Neurologist

Our organization is seeking a full-time general neurologist to join the Department of Neurology at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, located in Lebanon, NH. The selected candidate will receive an academic appointment at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College, aligned with their experience. We are looking for a clinician-educator dedicated to providing outstanding neurological care while actively participating in our academic mission. This position emphasizes clinical practice, fosters strong interdisciplinary collaboration, and allows for the integration of scholarly activities based on personal interests.

Position Highlights:

• Outpatient-only practice with ample appointment durations.
• Manage a diverse range of general neurology conditions with easy access to subspecialty colleagues.
• Well-balanced schedule: 32 hours dedicated to patient care, 4 hours for administrative tasks, and 4 hours for asynchronous work each week.
• No on-call responsibilities.
• Comprehensive infrastructure support, including clinical pharmacy specialists and pre-authorization assistance.
• Active involvement in teaching residents, fellows, and medical students.

Requirements:

• Completion of an ACGME-accredited neurology residency.
• Board Eligible/Board Certified in neurology (ABMS or AOA).
• Capability to obtain and maintain medical licensure in New Hampshire and Vermont.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented setting.
• Proven excellence in clinical care and a strong passion for academic medicine.
