We are looking for a doctor with good exotics experience. Dogs are separated from other species in our lobbies, exam rooms, treatment areas,and holding areas. Additionally,iCalmmusic is played throughout. Most of our 12 doctors, 15 CVTs, 20 assistants, and 20 client service representatives are Fear Free™ Certified Professionals, and we are committed to making veterinary visitsa great experiencefor our patients and their people. We are also committed to hands-freeradiology (currently at 90%). We’vebeenAHAA-accredited for more than 40 years. Students and new graduates are encouraged to apply and will receive dedicated mentorship. Schedule Our doctors work a four-day week and rotate opening, closing, and weekend shifts. We’reopen 7 days (7:20-8:30 Monday-Friday, 8-6 weekends). Cases We see plenty of dogs (50%) and cats (30%), and experience with birds, reptiles, and/or small mammals (20%) would be a plus but is not a requirement. Total Rewards As a member of the VCA family, eligible full-time employees will be rewarded with a comprehensive package, including: Compensation Salary is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge,abilitiesand other relevant credentials. Salary Range: 125,000 - 145,000. Salaryrange listed is based on a40 hourwork week. This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.
