Description

Essential Functions:

Responsible for the direct cleaning of the Lake Anna YMCA, such as cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, locker rooms, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, trash removal, window cleaning, picking up trash/spills, etc., floor cleaning and maintenance, in all areas of the Y.
Follows cleaning checklist for all areas of the building on a daily basis
Responsible for communicating and submitting to supervisor inventory and supplies needed to maintain the building
Organize, clean and maintain storage area for the cleaning supplies and equipment
Maintain a clean and positive image along with YMCA attire/uniform
Maintain communication with all staff via in person and / or through work orders that are developed
Interact with staff and members in a positive manner and create a team atmosphere
Develop an understanding and commitment to the Annual Campaign
Other duties as assigned by the Properties Manager and/or Executive Director

Qualifications:

Must be able to communicate verbally to groups and individuals
Must be able to physically perform scope of job
Must possess some degree of computer literacy

Performance Objectives:

Clean and attractive building
Add to the creation of a Properties Department that accomplishes the goals and objectives of the YMCA and operates efficiently
Complete all other jobs as assigned by Supervisor
