Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support our day-to-day accounting operations. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with 1–3 years of experience who is looking to grow their career in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

The Staff Accountant will assist with month-end close activities, account reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable processes, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and eager to develop a strong foundation in corporate accounting.

Responsibilities

Prepare routine journal entries and maintain supporting documentation.

Perform monthly bank and balance sheet account reconciliations.

Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.

Review financial transactions for accuracy and completeness.

Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed.

Assist with maintaining fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.

Research and resolve accounting discrepancies.

Maintain organized accounting records and documentation.

Assist with audit requests and financial reporting support.

Prepare recurring reports and schedules for management.

Support process improvement initiatives within the accounting department.

Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1–3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or finance experience.

Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred

Experience with QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or similar accounting software.

Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general ledger accounting.

Experience working in a healthcare or professional services environment.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $55,000 – $70,000 annually
