Job Description

In this position you will ensure the continuous uninterrupted supply of indirect and spare parts inventory to support operations while maintaining accurate inventory records.

This Job Is For You If

• You can forecast demand and inventory target quantities, setting MIN MAX levels for indirect materials and spare parts.
• You are able to conduct frequent data mining and statistical analysis of inventory movements to determine optimum planning criteria within the SAP enterprise system.
• You can review daily inventory consumption (GI-Goods ICanssues) and receipts (GR-Goods Receipts) data to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• You can create and maintain tools to review and optimize inventory throughput rates and to identify slow moving or obsolete inventory categories.
• You are able to use the enterprise system SAP to assign the appropriate item planning code maintenance for parts.
• You can assist in the development of the Annual Parts Inventory Plan for Indirect and Spare Parts - work closely with FAB engineering to identify spare parts requirements.
• You can take an active role in identifying and recommending modifications to the planning profiles of inventory to ensure proper financial classification and planning optimization.
• You can perform trend analysis for specific product categories - utilize data to determine inventory stocking policy.
• You can coordinate and monitor daily Cycle Counting program for ESR inventories - generate daily and monthly summarized reporting.
• You perform Cycle Counting inventory transaction updates to reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• You can maintain and review computerized, or manual records of inventory transactions to verify compliance with established company quality policies and procedures.
• You are able to maintain the Machine Down database and generate weekly /monthly reporting to identify causes of unexpected machine down activity.
• You can support any ad-hoc requests for analysis, information, special projects, or additional tasks.
• You can perform other related duties and projects at the direction of supply chain management.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Finance preferred.
• Three (3) years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Inventory Control, Warehouse, or Purchasing Management
• APIC/CPIM preferred.
• Must have MS Excel proficiency at Intermediate or Advanced level.
• Demonstrated proficiency in data extraction from ERP systems (preferably SAP).
• Demonstrated proficiency in developing Excel spreadsheets to analyze and evaluate large data arrays.
• Knowledge of factors that cause supply and demand shifts and the resulting changes in demand.
• Knowledge of shipping and distribution industry, practices, and procedures.
• Knowledge of company standards, practices, and values to serve as external representative.
• Ability to learn and a Global Data Management system.
• Ability to interpret and collate data to present an accurate assessment of inventory strategy.
• Ability to learn new information regarding product specifications, pricing, and quality standards.
• Ability to be reliable, dependable, and adaptable. * Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills specifically related to negotiation, persuasion, and sales.
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the Company.
• Ability to engage in professional business communication through phone calls, emails and face-to-face meetings.
• Ability to create clear and concise business documentation.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural work environment.

Compensation: $70,304 - $106,000
