Financial Controller

We offer staffing and equipment for: Music Festivals, Concert Touring, Site Management, Logistics, Outdoor Video, Sound Reinforcement, Lighting, Roof and Staging, and more. DSS, Inc. is a progressive company experiencing rapid growth. We are currently hiring for a Financial Controller. Office hours are: M-F 9am-6pm Summary: Manage day to day accounting, finance and HR requirements. Accountability, Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Accounting: Must have 5+ Years of experience with Quickbooks Cash flow Managment Work with Insurance Company, PM’s, and Clients on COIs Biweekly Payroll including FICA, State & Local Withholding taxes Processing of Quarterly and Annual State and Federal filings Work with CPA to process Quarterly and Annual filings Process Year-end docs W2s and 1099s Financial Reporting for CEO Maintain Vendor and Customer files Coordinate with CEO to maintain and renew Business Insurance policies Meet with and assist outside auditor for annual Business Insurance audits Human Resources: Maintain and manage all employee and independent contractor files Maintain and update Employee Handbook Manage Employee benefits and renewals such as Health, Dental, Life Recruit, interview, and hire prospective candidates Work with managers in disciplinary actions, annual review processes, complaints, praises, and work comp claims. Coordinate with Transportation Manager to conduct DOT required pre-employment testing Implement ongoing programs and employee benefits for employee retention Misc.: Point of contact for Building management Maintain Dealers license and vehicle registrations Assist front office staff with phones and greeting clients Planning and organization assistance on the annual DSS Holiday Client party Work with CEO to facilitate his needs as they arise Facilitate and Manage banking, CPA, and legal relationships Qualification / Skills: Problem Solving/Analysis Ethical Conduct Personal Effectiveness/Credibility Strategic Thinking Attention to Detail and follow through Education / Experience: Experience with QuickBooks is required 5-10 years of related experience Physical Requirements: Condition of Employment: Must submit to pre-employment and random drug testing and background check. #J-18808-Ljbffr Digital Sound Systems, Inc.
