Architect - Senior

Your Role As a Gensler Architect, you will collaborate with our design team to develop innovative design solutions and coordinate the design through the construction documentation phase of a project. You will leverage your technical acumen and Revit skills to drive client projects from concept. Your role is critical in the design and delivery of world‑class projects. What You Will Do Lead architectural deliverables on projects, working with Design Director(s), Technical Director(s) and project team(s) for all project phases, including conceptual designs, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents and production. Provide creative direction to design teams. Collaborate with design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies and other vendors to meet overall project objectives. Resolve complex design issues with innovative and practical solutions. Produce graphic presentations, 3D renderings and construction drawings. Assist in managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordination. Contribute to office activities, initiatives and learning programs. Advance the understanding that design resilience is the responsibility of every person at Gensler. Cultivate design expertise with the desire to always learn, grow and evolve. Your Qualifications Licensed / Registered Architect. Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited program. 10+ years of relevant architecture and design experience, with a strong background designing multiple building typologies of varying scale. Revit experience required. Full knowledge of architectural principles/practices. Working knowledge of building codes, standards and building structures. Experience with the entire project lifecycle and design process through post‑occupancy. Flexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of development. A quick learner with an ability to thrive in a fast‑paced work environment. Excellent written and verbal communication and management skills, including leadership, organization and client relationship management skills. Well‑rounded, strategic thinker with an integrated approach to design, management and technical project resolution who can help shape a vision for the future. Location & Application This position is in‑person. Successful candidates will be located in the Dallas, Texas area. Non‑local candidates are welcome.
