Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Events Lead will partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Leadership to design and deliver impactful, brand-aligned events that drive revenue, deepen relationships, and elevate the presence across the investment landscape. This is a critical leadership role that blends creative experience design with operational excellence, with direct responsibility for shaping how our audiences experience the Grayscale brand.If you're someone who loves setting the strategy and vision for world-class events, and cares how the napkins are folded, this is the role for you.Responsibilities:Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of Grayscale's event presence—including hosted experiences (such as our recurring Crypto Connects series), strategic sponsorships, and participation at industry conferencesAlign event programming with sales goals and marketing campaigns to drive engagement, deepen relationships, and accelerate pipeline growthPartner cross-functionally with Sales, Channel Marketing, Product, and Brand to deliver audience-specific experiences across advisor, institutional, and partner segmentsOversee all aspects of event delivery—from agenda and venue through event logistics (for example: catering, registration/RSVP, swag, décor, and other day-of details), speaker coordination, format design, and post-event engagementManage the execution of virtual and hybrid events, selecting platforms and designing digital-first experiences that scale reach and impactOwn event analytics: define KPIs, track performance, forecast budgets, and report on ROI and strategic outcomesManage agency and vendor relationships, ensuring seamless execution, cost-efficiency, and brand consistencyServe as the on-site lead at key events—including booth presence and experiential activations at major industry conferences—and act as an internal advocate for innovation in event formats, attendee experience, and technology adoptionPrior Experience/Requirements:10-15 years of experience leading strategic event, experiential, or field marketing programs, preferably in financial services, fintech, asset management, or high-growth sectors—or fashion-caliber event production (e.g., major fashion week shows) for candidates without a finserv backgroundDemonstrated success building and delivering multiformat event strategies, including virtual, hybrid, and in-person experiencesDetail-oriented with high standards for quality, brand consistency, and attendee experience; adept at immersive programming and experiential designProven leadership experience in managing vendors and partners, from selecting best-in-class partners to negotiating terms and contracts to coordinating vendors on-siteA genuine curiosity about crypto, digital assets, or disruptive, high-growth industries is a plus, though not requiredThe salary range for this position is $160,000-$220,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
