Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical (Telemetry)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 3 x 12-Hour Shifts (36 Hours/Week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit in accordance with facility standards and nursing best practices
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, identifying and responding to cardiac changes or abnormalities
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient treatment and discharge planning
• Administer medications and treatments accurately while maintaining thorough documentation in the patient record

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia or compact license eligibility
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Prior experience in a Medical/Surgical or Telemetry nursing setting
• Ability to read and respond to telemetry monitoring

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience in an acute care hospital environment
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
