Sales Engineer

Job DescriptionJob OverviewA Field Application Engineer promotes the latest technologies within the Automated Material Handling industry to customers. They develop strong relationships with the industrial and distribution clients in a geographical area and provides them with exceptional material handling and automation solutions to meet their business requirements. This role allows you to work with some of the latest technologies in the ever-changing material handling field including robotics, mobile robotics, autonomous vehicles, AGV’s, and more.This person will work hybrid in the Seattle, WA 98134 area. Job FunctionsDevelop strong relationships with our customers through timely, regular visitsAssess needs and present solutions tailored to customer specificationsSell a wide variety of products and services to meet your customer's needsCollaborate with other Toyota Automated Logistics entities to provide the best solution to the customerProvide professional sales quotes in a timely mannerMaster business technology (AutoCad, CRM, Power Point presentations, etc.)Pursue leads from our Web Site and suppliersMaintain customer database information current in our CRMCommunicate strategic information regarding suppliers, customers, and competitionNetwork with business contacts within the territory and industryMaster product information through training and personal effortsTravel Requirements: 25% overnight travel (expenses paid by Bastian) Must maintain a valid drivers licensePreferred Skills and Required Qualifications Must be eligible to work in the US long term without sponsorship Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical or MET preferred)2+ years work engineering work experience outside of academia Technical Sales experience needed, industrial sector preferredMaterial handling automation design and sales experienceStrong presentation AutoCad experience a plusEntrepreneurial and competitive personalityEmployees must follow all information security policies, protect confidential data, complete required training, and report any suspected security incidents to support our information security controls.Total Variable Compensation: 120-180k (consists of base salary + commission)About Toyota Automated Logistics:Toyota Automated Logistics is your global partner for integrated warehouse automation.
