Clamp Truck Driver

Location: Holland, MI
Shift: 2:00 PM–10:00 PM | Monday–Friday
Pay: $18.00/hour

Job Summary

We're looking for a dependable and safety-conscious Clamp Truck Driver to join our manufacturing team on second shift. This position is responsible for safely transporting raw materials and finished corrugated products throughout the facility using a clamp truck to support production and shipping operations. The ideal candidate has previous clamp truck or powered industrial truck experience, strong attention to safety, and enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Clamp Truck Driver, your core responsibilities will include:

• Operating a Clamp Truck: Safely operate a clamp truck to transport raw materials, finished products, and supplies throughout the facility.
• Supplying Production Lines: Deliver materials to production areas to maintain efficient production flow.
• Loading & Unloading Materials: Load and unload products from trailers and move materials to designated storage areas.
• Inventory Support: Stage, organize, and accurately store materials and finished goods.
• Maintaining a Safe Work Environment: Follow all safety procedures while keeping work areas clean and organized.
• Supporting Warehouse Operations: Assist with other material handling and warehouse duties as needed.

In addition, you will work closely with production and shipping teams to ensure materials are available when needed and customer orders are completed on schedule.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications

• Previous clamp truck or forklift experience preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Clamp Truck Operation: Ability to safely operate a clamp truck in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Material Handling: Experience transporting, staging, and organizing materials efficiently.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately move and store products while preventing damage.
• Communication: Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with team members.
• Organization: Ability to maintain organized inventory and work areas.
• Safety Awareness: Commitment to following all company safety policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Ability to bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive motions throughout the workday.
• Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment.
