BG Staffing is seeking a skilled and dependable Floating Maintenance Technician to support an apartment community in Goose Creek, SC 29445 . This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise who takes pride in delivering high-quality maintenance work and excellent service to residents.

Position Details

Role: Floating Maintenance Technician
Location: Goose Creek, SC 29445
Pay: $21/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM
Start Date: ASAP
Opportunity Type: Contract-to-Hire

Responsibilities

Complete work orders efficiently and professionally
Perform skilled maintenance tasks, including:
- Electrical repairs
- Plumbing repairs
- Appliance diagnostics and repair
- Carpentry and general maintenance
Assist with unit turns and make-ready preparation
Maintain community grounds, common areas, and amenities
Respond to resident requests with a friendly, professional attitude
Ensure all work meets safety, compliance, and quality standards

Requirements

Previous apartment maintenance experience strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of general and advanced maintenance functions
Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Strong communication and customer service skills
