Job Summary
A Sterile Processing Technician position is available in Bethpage, New York. This role involves supporting a large, busy off-site reprocessing center that provides sterile processing services for multiple healthcare facilities, including tertiary sites and ambulatory surgery centers. The technician will be responsible for disassembling, cleaning, sterilizing, reassembling, and packaging sterile supplies while adhering to strict protocols and equipment procedures.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, beginning on 08/03/2026, with every other weekend required.
• Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent; Sterile processing certification (CRCST or CSPD) must not expire during the assignment; 2+ years of certified experience in a tertiary setting or 1 year of certified experience with 4 years of sterile processing technology experience in a tertiary setting; experience operating washers, sterilizers, ultrasonic machines, steam and ethylene oxide sterilizers, heat sealers, and related equipment; ability to stand for long periods, lift/carry 25 pounds, and communicate effectively in English.

• Float: Float rotation not specified; presumed not required.
• Additional Information: The role requires standing for extended periods, manual dexterity, and effective communication. Scrubs are provided and must be laundered at the facility; shoes, jewelry, hair, and beard coverings are mandatory; no nail polish permitted. Free parking is available.
