Senior Field Reimbursement Manager - Liver - MidWest

Gilead Sciences seeks a Senior Field Reimbursement Manager focused on liver market access for the Midwest region. The role combines regional expertise in payer policies and reimbursement pathways with cross-functional collaboration to remove barriers to patient treatment access.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with providers and specialty pharmacies to facilitate patient access to Gilead products
• Serve as regional reimbursement expert, identifying and engaging key accounts through influence mapping
• Communicate formulary and reimbursement changes to accounts; support education on prior authorizations and medical exceptions
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to create resources on reimbursement best practices
• Identify bottlenecks in patient therapy journeys and coordinate with Gilead HUB to resolve high-need cases

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years pharmaceutical field experience, or Master's degree with 6+ years experience, or PhD
• Background in field reimbursement, market access, patient services, or account management at major pharma
• Deep knowledge of payer, provider, and specialty pharmacy relationships in reimbursement and access
• Experience managing large, complex provider accounts, health systems, IDNs, or multi-state accounts
• Familiarity with commercial, Medicare, Medicaid payer segments and specialty pharmacy workflows
• Ability to influence matrixed stakeholders and translate account barriers into scalable improvements
• Comfortable engaging executive leadership; willingness to travel 75% across designated regions
