Health System Overview: As a premier level 1A health system, our organization features two facilities with a total of 551 beds and 8 outreach clinics, making Central Arkansas VA one of the largest and most intricate systems in the nation. With comprehensive medical, surgical, and ancillary support services, you will deliver exceptional interdisciplinary care. Every team member is dedicated to one common mission: to ensure the highest quality of care for patients and their families, honoring those who have courageously served in our Armed Forces. Join our current team of 4 physicians, 3 mid-level providers, and approximately 12 support staff as we elevate our Gastroenterology and Hepatology programs to new heights.

With a national airport just a 15-minute drive away, Little Rock is an ideal location for exploring the country.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Four days a week in the Hepatology clinic, starting with 6 patients per session.
Half a day each week dedicated to administrative tasks, education, and research if desired.
Shared inpatient consult service and call coverage on a 1/5 basis, managing approximately 4-8 patients daily, with support from Residents and Fellows.
The hospitalist team handles all admission and discharge duties.
Clinic and lab responsibilities are reduced on inpatient consult days.
