Shift Leader

Position: Shift Leader Brand: Einstein Bros. Bagels – Breakfast with us, and dinner with your loved ones! At Einstein Bros. Our stores close at 2pm so you can enjoy evenings and nights outside of work. Responsibilities Collaborate directly with the General Manager to motivate the team and deliver a great guest experience. Take charge of the shift, set the morale and tone of the team, and empower others to perform at their best. Provide feedback and coach team members when needed. Open and close the store with little to no supervision. Ensure the quality of food and beverages and maintain a safe, clean store environment. Benefits Flexible schedule. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Must be 18 years or older. Must be able to work varied hours/days, including early hours as early as 3am and weekends. Must pass a background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law. Must have or be able to obtain a ServSafe Certification prior to completing leadership training. Possession of a current, valid, state‑issued driver’s license is preferred; required only at specific locations. Tip eligibility subject to state regulations. Position Details Address: 15721 Bernardo Heights Pkwy Ste G, San Diego, California 92128 Hourly Rate: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour (starting pay subject to local and state minimum wage regulations; ranges reflect employer expectations) Physical Demands The position involves sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and moving intermittently during working hours.
