About United Veterans Beacon House Founded in 1994, UVBH is a nonprofit organization providing emergency, transitional, and permanent housing for Veterans, individuals, and families in need. Key Responsibilities Conduct client intake, review shelter rules, assign rooms and chores, and ensure completion of admission documentation. Facilitate resident house meetings and program updates. Maintain accurate records. Ensure shelter cleanliness, troubleshoot minor maintenance issues, and coordinate repairs with the maintenance team. Coordinate with the shelter drivers for client transportation as needed.
