Forklift Operator

Warehouse Equipment OperatorOperate heavy machinery in a warehouse setting. Properly load, secure, unload and protect deliveries and donation, raw materials, and manufactured goods. Distinguish between labeled containers to transport to designated areas.Role and ResponsibilitiesAchieve and maintain current forklift certification.Operate forklift and pallet jacks within warehouse and dock area when required.Neatly and accurately complete required paperwork to include manifest, donation count sheets, and truck seals.Accurately and immediately report incidents and accidents to the supervisor.Perform operator-level maintenance on assigned equipment to include daily pre and post trip safety checks including but not limited to, fuel, oil, lubricants, water, antifreeze, and condition.Other duties as assigned.Supervisory ResponsibilityThis position does not have supervisory responsibilities.Required Skills & QualificationsMust be a minimum of 18 years of age.Must have adequate eyesight, hearing, and hand-eye coordination.Must be able to follow directions well.Must be able to communicate effectively in English.Physical RequirementsAbility to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, and talk or hear.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to airborne particles.What We OfferComprehensive Health Coverage: We provide top-tier medical, dental, and vision insurance to ensure you and your family stay healthy and happy.Generous Paid Time Off: Recharge with our generous PTO policy, which includes vacation days, personal days, and company-wide holidays.Paid Parental Leave: We understand the importance of family.
