Senior Business Analyst / Technical Product Analyst

Salary: $97,364.8 - 97,364.8 per year Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience as a product business analyst delivering technical programs in large, fast-paced environments.
• Strong analytical and project management abilities, including experience with agile delivery and translating business needs into application and operational requirements.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, relationship-building, and influencing skills, including with senior stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of relational databases and moderate SQL skills for querying and analysis; a development background is an advantage.
• Strong writing and presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Ability to work independently and with distributed teams, prioritize concurrent projects, and meet time-sensitive objectives while maintaining quality.
• Comfortable working in a virtual environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Project, Visio, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Preferred: financial services experience, especially in institutional business; hands-on experience with Jira and agile tools; familiarity with MS SQL Server and Selenium basics.
• Bachelors degree in Information Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Certification in Project Management, Business Analysis, or agile methodologies.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and challenges, then translate them into clear business and functional requirements.
• Partner with product leaders to develop, prioritize, and refine features and user stories, keeping the backlog ready for the next one to two sprints.
• Work with UI/UX designers to align interfaces with user needs and product vision.
• Ensure user stories are delivered according to agreed requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Support capacity planning and contribute to the long-term strategic direction of systems and software.
• Coordinate testing activities, including user acceptance testing planning, execution, and sign-off.
• Assess and report on the effectiveness of existing systems and features, and define test strategies for improvement.
• Communicate application issues and risks to stakeholders, including management and end users.
• Improve business processes through integration and change management to realize value.
