Retina Specialist The Department of Ophthalmology at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston), is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified clinician with retina fellowship training to join The Department of Ophthalmology. This is an academic track position, with research and teaching opportunities and expectations. We will entertain all applicants at the assistant professor level. Those with an established funded research program may be considered for appointment at the rank of Associate or Full Professor. Position Key Accountabilities Clinic time will be split between the primary teaching location, Lyndon B Johnson hospital, and the Cizik Eye Clinic, located within the Texas Medical Center. The exact proportion at each location will be dependent upon physician interest and need. This role involves teaching, research, and patient care within an academic setting. Qualifications Completed fellowship training or equivalent in medical retina Board-certified/eligible in ophthalmology Eligible for a medical license in the state of Texas.
