Onsite position with no relocation assistance. Responsibilities include: Repair, install, replace, and test electrical circuits, cables, equipment, and connectors. Use hand tools and testing equipment. Inspect and test electrical equipment, lighting, signal, communication, and power circuits. Isolate defects in wiring, switches, motors, and other electrical equipment using general and specialized testing equipment. Replace faulty switches, sockets, and other elements of electrical systems. Dismantle electrical machinery and replace defective electrical or mechanical parts such as gears, brushes, and armatures. Mount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures into position and complete circuits according to diagram specifications. Work from drawings, blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures. Participate in special projects as required. Obtain necessary badges (DBIDS and shipyard). Work on and climb ladders, work in extreme temperature environments, aboard ships, in shipyards, under industrial conditions and in confined spaces. Perform other duties as assigned. Lift, carry, and transport heavy equipment and boxes up to 75 lbs. Travel within and outside the continental United States – may be required up to 20% of the time. Requirements US citizen. High school diploma or GED. 1+ years of relevant experience. Benefits & Compensation Hourly rate range: approximately $29.84 – $40.38, subject to experience and location.
