Front Office Coordinator

$15 per hour

You’ll welcome visitors, clients, and fellow employees, answer phone calls and emails, sort and deliver mail, schedule meetings, make travel arrangements, and assist us with other operations as needed. The ideal candidate is a great communicator with a strong work ethic who is interested in a meaningful role on a supportive team. If this sounds like you, apply today!Compensation:$15 hourlyResponsibilities:Provide administrative support to other team members with data entry, paperwork, photocopying, etc. when neededAnswer phone calls and emails and communicate relevant information to the appropriate partiesHandle deliveries and manage incoming and outgoing mailGive every employee, client, and visitor a warm welcome at the front desk and communicate any important information or directionsArrange appointments for employees and keep the calendar up-to-dateMust have outstanding client service skills, getting to know clients and their needsMaintain guest records through contact with clients and VeterinariansAssist new clients with information, procedures, and requirements for setting up temperament testsAnswer phones, emails, and texts to help clients with reservations and general information about our businessMust be able to appropriately handle dog sizes ranging from 2 lbs. to 175 lbs. on a leash while maintaining control and keeping your team safeUnderstanding the client's instructions and/or special needs for boarding/daycare check-ins and check-outs, and being able to communicate these needs to the kennel staff, and electronically documentingGive facility tours (within 4 weeks of hire)Soft selling and marketing are an absolute mustQualifications:High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalentWell-versed in taking telephone calls and handling stressful situationsDisplays impeccable interpersonal, time management, organizational, and customer service skillsProficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft OfficeAt least one year of receptionist or administrative assistant, experience, or similar preferredPrevious dog handling and/or veterinarian experience is preferred, albeit not required1+ years of relevant reception/client service experience requiredAbility to multitask and prioritize daily tasksAbout CompanyPooches Paradise is a family-owned small business in the heart of Waldo (KCMO).
