Electrical Estimator

Electrical EstimatorWe are seeking a detail oriented and experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs, preparing bids, and supporting our construction and service projects. Join us and play a key role in delivering quality solutions to our valued clients.This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000ResponsibilitiesReview specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimateProduce estimates via drawing takeoff by using various methods (comprehensive, median, historical, conceptual)Identify qualified suppliers/subcontractors and solicit quotes. Review quotes for completeness with plans and specificationsProject turnover - meet with Project Management and operations to fully explain the estimate, scope of work, quotes and other aspects for a successful transitionResponsible for the timely completion of all estimates and client-required documentsDraft scope letter inclusions, exclusions, and clarifications for estimatesThe responsibilities describe the general nature and scope of work being performed, other duties will be assigned as neededQualificationsThree to five years electrical experience requiredAble to take concept and schematic drawings and develop a meaningful estimate with detailAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and changing priorities as necessaryEffective communication skillsEffectively interact with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and othersBenefitsHealth insurance401(k) with matchDental insuranceLife insurancePaid time offPaid holidaysFlorence Electric is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer.
