Quality Inspector

Seeking an experienced Aircraft Component Inspector with hands-on MRO experience and strong knowledge of aircraft maintenance documentation, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting aircraft components, identifying defects, documenting findings, and working closely with Production and Quality teams. Key Responsibilities Perform detailed preliminary and visual inspections of aircraft components. Identify damage, wear, mechanical issues, abnormalities, and non-conformities. Use precision measuring instruments, gauges, and testing equipment to verify component condition and conformity. Identify worn, damaged, or obsolete parts requiring replacement. Review and interpret aircraft technical documentation, including: CMM – Component Maintenance Manual AMM – Aircraft Maintenance Manual IPC – Illustrated Parts Catalog Engineering drawings and specifications Document defects, deviations, and inspection findings accurately. Maintain complete and accurate inspection records. Follow established quality procedures, inspection protocols, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with Production and Quality teams during inspection and repair activities. Stay current with aircraft maintenance systems, procedures, technical documentation, and inspection technologies. Travel internationally as required. Required Qualifications Previous aircraft MRO experience is required . Hands-on experience interpreting aircraft technical documentation. Strong knowledge of CMM, SRM, AMM, IPC, and engineering drawings. Experience using precision measuring and inspection equipment. Strong understanding of aviation quality control and inspection practices. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to clearly document and communicate inspection findings. Ability to work effectively with Quality and Production teams. Bilingual in English and Spanish required. International travel availability required. High school diploma or equivalent.
