Are you dependable, observant, and passionate about keeping people safe? Fleamasters Flea Market is looking for professional, customer-focused Security Officers to help provide a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for our vendors, customers, and team members.

Whether you're greeting guests, patrolling the property, or responding to incidents, you'll play an important role in protecting one of Southwest Florida's premier flea markets. If you enjoy working independently, staying active, and making a positive impact, we'd love to hear from you.

Schedule

We are currently hiring for multiple evening and overnight shifts, including:

• 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• 11:00 PM – 6:00 AM

These positions are ideal for individuals seeking evening or overnight work in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a highly visible security presence throughout the property
• Greet customers, vendors, and guests while providing excellent customer service
• Monitor and document vehicles and individuals entering and exiting the property
• Patrol buildings, parking lots, and outdoor areas by foot and golf cart
• Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, and disturbances
• Help de-escalate conflicts using sound judgment and professionalism
• Report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and security concerns
• Complete accurate incident reports and daily activity logs
• Perform routine inspections of gates, doors, fencing, and perimeter security
• Work closely with management and local emergency personnel when necessary

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to successfully pass a background check
• Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills
• Professional, dependable, and trustworthy
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to patrol large outdoor areas throughout the shift
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to safely operate a golf cart while conducting patrols
