Responsibilities
- Provide direct RN care for adult patients (18+) in Med/Surg, including initial assessment, care planning, and documentation
- Administer medications, monitor patient status, and respond to changes; collaborate with the multidisciplinary team
- Document in the electronic medical record system (Meditech EMR) and manage supply use via Pyxis
- Manage care for wound vacs and chest tubes as part of med/surg responsibilities
- Maintain safety, infection control, and patient education; coordinate with ancillary services
- Float to surg/peds or transitional care units as assigned; remain flexible to shift lengths and days

Requirements
- Hawaii state Registered Nurse license required by start of assignment
- BLS required; ACLS preferred
- 2+ years of med/surg or higher level of care experience
- Ability to work various shift lengths and days; flexibility is essential
- Experience caring for adult inpatients; able to work in an inpatient setting
- Must arrive the Thursday before start for pre-employment health clearance and orientation
