Boat Captain

The Boat Captain is responsible for the operation and safety of the property's vessel. This person should work in a safe manner consistent with USCG regulations. Daily maintenance inspections to ensure vessel operates correctly, in addition to having a high level of customer service to the people who are aboard the vessel. You should be able to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.

Operates vessels following established Coast Guard regulations and Company guidelines

Keep accurate record of tender occupancies, coast guard and maintenance logs

Coordinate line-handling when coming to dock, anchoring, deck maintenance and safety

100 Ton license required

Enrolled in APCA Drug Consortium

Strong knowledge of boating

Must have flexible schedule to include working weekends and holidays during busy season

Must be able to independently lift, carry, push, and pull up to thirty (30) pounds

Must be able to swim or be willing to wear a personal flotation device in instances of emergency

Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently, and squeezing & overhead reaching occasionally

Must be able to work flexible hours based on the needs of the property to include weekends and holidays as needed.
