Bilingual Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

This is a highly flexible, hybrid opportunity for a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who is Medicaid credentialed to work across a dynamic blend of on-site clinical care and telehealth services. Providers will spend 2–3 days per week on-site in a structured outpatient clinic and/or hospital-affiliated setting, with the remainder of their schedule conducted remotely via telepsychiatry. Spanish proficiency is required, but does not need to be fully fluent—candidates should be comfortable communicating with Spanish-speaking patients in a clinical setting. Requirements

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations across outpatient clinic, hospital-affiliated, and telehealth settings
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of psychiatric conditions in adult and geriatric populations
• Provide medication management, including initiation, titration, and ongoing monitoring
• Deliver both in-person and virtual follow-up care, ensuring continuity and accessibility for patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, therapists, and nursing staff
• Participate in care coordination for patients transitioning between hospital and outpatient settings
• Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and medications
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within EMR systems
• Utilize telehealth platforms and clinical tools to enhance efficiency and care delivery
• Participate in clinical meetings and ongoing quality improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required – proficiency does not need to be fully fluent; ability to effectively communicate with Spanish-speaking patients is sufficient
• Active Medicaid credentialing required
• Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license
• Experience in outpatient and/or hospital-based psychiatry
• Strong clinical foundation in psychiatric assessment and psychopharmacology
• Comfort working in both in-person and telehealth environments
• Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and documentation skills
