Associate Trial Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an Associate Trial Attorney in Los Angeles, CA. This role is ideal for an attorney with first or second chair trial experience looking to advance their career. The successful candidate will manage a personal injury caseload from filing through resolution, under the guidance of a Senior Trial Attorney. Duties Manage personal injury cases from filing to resolution, including discovery and depositions. Develop litigation strategies tailored to each case. Take and defend depositions, and collaborate with experts for trial preparation. Ensure procedural compliance and meet court deadlines. Assist in trial preparation for high-damages cases. Participate in mediations and settlement negotiations. Maintain direct communication with clients regarding case progress. Collaborate with the Pre-Litigation team for seamless case transitions. Work closely with paralegals and support staff. Requirements J.D. and active California Bar license in good standing. 5+ years of litigation experience. Experience as first or second chair in at least one trial. Proficiency in trial preparation, including motions in limine and witness preparation. Strong writing, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) Certifications Active California Bar license Skills 5+ years of litigation experience. Experience in trial preparation and case management.
