Registered Nurse NICU

Job Summary:
Provide specialized neonatal intensive care to critically ill newborns in a fast-paced NICU environment. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care and support their families.

Responsibilities:

• Administer evidence-based nursing care to infants with complex conditions, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Monitor vital signs, interpret diagnostic tests, and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Perform advanced procedures such as PICC line placement, UVC/UAC, intubation, and blood draws.
• Collaborate with physicians and support staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate family members about neonatal care procedures and ongoing treatment needs.
• Adhere to unit policies, maintain accurate documentation, and follow safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid nursing license with at least 1 year of NICU experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in NC management, BCPAP, HFNC, and PIV insertion.
• Possess current BLS and NRP certifications.
• Capable of managing ventilator settings and UAC/UVC lines.
• Able to attend deliveries and perform neonatal procedures as needed.
• Exhibit strong teamwork, helpfulness, and effective communication skills.
