Job Description Saint Luke's South in Overland Park, KS is seekinga Pre-Op/PACU RNto join their Perianesthesiateam. In this position, you will provide pre-procedural and post-procedural care for inpatients and outpatients undergoing procedures in the Main Operating Room, hospital-based GI suites, and select cases within the Radiology Department. Surgical specialties seen include Bariatrics, ENT, General, Gynecology/Obstetrics, Spinal Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Plastics, Podiatry, Urology, Urology-Gynecology, Vascular, and Robotics.Procedural specialties seen include Gastroenterology, Pulmonology, Cardiology, and Interventional Radiology. FT- Days . The call response time is 30 minutes The Work: Provides pre-operative and post-operative care for inpatient and outpatient procedures. Utilizes the nursing process Performs patient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff Coordinates the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes Demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines and procedures Job Requirements Applicable Experience: Less than 1 year Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Registered Nurse - Various Associate Degree Job Details Full Time Day (United States of America)a25371ca-cde7-4fb6-ba87-2cf40b156c8b
