Position: Live-out Nanny/Household Assistant

Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 10:15am – 7:30pm and Friday, 10:15am – 6:00pm (45 hours/week)

Location: Rye, NY

Salary:                $40-45/hour based on experience

Overview:

An active family of five in Rye, NY is seeking a warm and loving full-time Nanny/Household Assistant to help with the care and development of their three children (ages 6, 4 & 1). The Nanny will be responsible for all aspects of the children’s care, household organization, cooking, and driving (school pickups, local errands, etc.). Family also has a Golden Retriever.

Responsibilities:

·      Care for the children, nurture their development, and help manage their schedules/activities

·      Driving for the children and handling local errands as needed (car provided)

·      Plan and prepare simple, family-style dinner each night and school lunches for the children

·      Help with laundry for the family and light housekeeping (tidy children’s rooms and play areas)

·      Support the overall organization of the home

Character:

·      Very good communicator, both written and verbal

·      Ability to adjust to and accommodate changing circumstances

Requirements:

·      Excellent, stable work history and references

·      Must be able to drive with clean driving record; car will be provided

·      Looking for long-term commitment; become part of the family and evolve as children get older

·      Ability to travel with the family is a plus
