Registered Respiratory Therapist, Full-Time (36 Hours)

Overview Find your calling at Mercy! Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care, according to physician's orders. Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy. Acts as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care. Performs duties as assigned. Position Details Mercy Hospital St. Louis - Respiratory 615 S New Ballas Rd Saint Louis, MO 63141. Sign‑On‑Bonus incentive included up to $10,000. Eligible for shift differential! Shift: 7 pm-7 am. Education & Licensure Graduate of a CoArc‑approved Respiratory Care program. Meets state licensure requirements and holds a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license. Certifications Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). For Emergency Room workers: PALS required. Physical Demands Push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs. Pinch up to 10 lbs. Kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally. Equipment Used All appropriate respiratory care devices.
