What You'll Do

• Provide skilled, rehabilitative treatment to patients with physical functioning disorders under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Administer procedures including manual therapy, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and the use of assistive devices.
• Assess patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Document all treatments accurately within the electronic health record.
• Offer education and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers regarding physical health and recovery.
• Support students and healthcare team members in patient care activities.
• Participate in care conferences, meetings, and required trainings to ensure high standards of care.
• Assist with obtaining necessary DME or supplies per clinical needs.
• Adhere to all applicable professional practice acts, ethics, and internal policies.

What You Need

• Required: Active State Licensure as a PTA
• Preferred: Experience in long-term care facilities
• Key Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, team collaboration, patient-focused care
