Civil Site Designer II

Civil Site Designer II Join our growing Civil Site Land Development team as a Civil Designer II. In this role you will work on land development projects. As a Designer you will perform engineering models, analysis and/or designs, and supporting calculations and documentation. You will also coordinate the drafting of project elements for various clients. Recent Graduates are encouraged to apply! Location This position will report to the Franklin or Nashville office 3 days a week. Responsibilities Collect and assimilate data and perform modeling, analysis and/or design calculations of project elements. Draw design details under direction of others. Organize calculations to be included in design files, following project standards. Coordinate drafting of site layout, utility grading, and drainage plans. Perform field or site visits as needed. Develop cursory knowledge of applicable codes and standards and use of applicable CADD and Microsoft software. Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related discipline required. E.I.T (or desire to obtain P.E. in the future) preferred. Two years of site development experience, including strong internship or related experience, is preferred. Demonstrated ability to work and collaborate in a team environment on challenging projects. Willingness to be adaptable to office and field inspection tasks. The position may include the need to perform field inspection and may require travel to project sites. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written – e‑mails, project memos, reports, etc.). Detailed, and organized individual who thrives in environments that are deadline driven. Strong experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and stormwater modeling software preferred.
