Job Overview
We are looking for kind hearted, welcoming, fun, hard working, talented, creative humans to be part of Firefly's kitchen.
Firefly kitchen is a scratch kitchen that focuses on unique and affordable breakfast and lunch.
Attention to detail, passionate about creating excellent menus, problem solving, and going above and beyond to support your team mates is essential to working at the Firefly Kitchen.
This is a great job for someone starting out in the food industry. We make everything from scratch which includes baking with a sourdough starter, curing and smoking meats, making handmade sausage and all of the menu items are made from scratch.
During the fall and winter, we make soups from scratch every day. You must be able to multitask and do everything from washing dishes and scurbbing floors, putting away deliveries, keeping the kitchen stocked and organized, as well as making amazing food and serving customers.
The kitchen positions require a commitment of a year to be part of the team.
Preference will be give to candidates who are wishing to pursue the culinary arts as a career choice. .
