At Kurtz Bros, Inc. we produce the finest topsoil, mulch, and compost for beautiful yards and gardens. We hire at our nine store locations: Avon, Akron, Broadview Heights, Garfield Heights, Hudson, North Canton, Strongsville, Valley View & Willowick. Our typical time frame for hires is approximately 6 months but can vary based on our season/availability. Seasonal employees are eligible for some benefits, 401k and employee discounts! (*waiting period applies).
For each season an employee returns, they are eligible for: Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay, Up to $1,000 Return Bonus.
Some positions may turn into full-time, year-round positions. Come GROW with our companywe offer careers with room to expandfrom CSRs to Managers, and beyond.
We are looking for reliable CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES who enjoy a fast-paced environment, can handle multi-tasking and enjoy assisting customers at our store locations. This position requires the use of a computer, phone, register and the occasional trip outside in our product areas. You'll need to do basic math to quote and prepare orders for our customers but don't worry we will train you!
Basic Requirements:
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary
- Ability to do basic math & use a computer
- Ability to listen and follow instructions
Environment:
- Required to sit, stand, lift, kneel, bend, type, use personal computer, telephone, and two way radio
- Exposure to loud noises, hot/cold temperatures, dust, and other environmental factors
