We are looking for full‑time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Rochester, NY area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States. About the Position of Assistant Manager As a future leader of Mavis, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each Mavis retail location operates efficiently, safely and effectively. Using fundamental leadership skills, Assistant Managers enforce established policies, procedures and standards; schedule mechanics/technicians’ work; manage outside orders; ensure the quality and timely completion of jobs; meet customer expectations; and maintain a safe environment for team members. About the Position of Service Manager The Service Manager assists customers with tire selections and recommends necessary under‑car repair services. To ensure complete customer satisfaction, Service Managers drive timely completion of high‑quality vehicle repair and maintenance, direct the workflow of mechanics, alignment technicians and tire technicians, and stage vehicle repair/maintenance work. They also lead sales initiatives, communicate directly with customers, assess needs, provide repair and maintenance information, and strive to meet customer expectations. Qualifications At least 18 years of age. Legally authorized to work in the United States. One year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, automotive repairs/maintenance, or a comparable combination of education, training, and experience.
