Key Responsibilities of the Neuro Registered Nurse

• Function independently in Neurosurgery
• Administer blood and blood products
• Perform ALIF, anterior cervical fusion, craniotomies, and other complex procedures
• Handle trauma cases including gunshot/stab wounds and MVA
• Implement infection control and specimen handling protocols

Requirements of the Neuro Registered Nurse

• Two years of experience in relevant fields
• BLS certification
• EPIC charting experience required
• Experience with Trauma Level II facilities
